@shamuel9977 The folder I'm talking about is for third party cc and mods. Do you have any expansion packs that may have been installed from disc? You may have to uninstall the packs and reinstall the expansion packs from Origin as digital downloads. It seems that older packs may not get updated for Origin (version 1.69). If you updated from version 1.67 to Origin (like I did) the update may have been interrupted and didn't update all the packs. The initial update from version 1.67 to version 1.69 takes a while and some people think it's complete when it isn't totally complete. Some people have done a complete reinstall from digital downloads from Origin to cure this issue.

@shamuel9977 You said you tried to apply the version 1.67 super patch. What is the version of the game when you start the game in the launcher lower left should show the version of the game. But there is a possibility trying to patch to a lower version may have damaged the game. Like I said some people have found success in a total reinstall of the game. You can try a factory reset but if the core base game is damaged you probably have to reinstall. Here is a link to try the factory reset - Sims 3 factory reset You have to get the game into a known working condition. Then as you reinstall the expansion packs I recommend testing the game to live mode every pack. If you decide to do the reinstall I recommend getting a registry cleaner like ccleaner (google - it there is a free version) and cleaner registry before you start the install process.

Has cc magic been updated for the origin patch 1.69? I haven't played sims 3 in a while but last time I tried I thought cc magic didn't work right with origin and 1.69 patch. And since all my games are through origin and I no longer have physical copies, I have to stick with that patch level. *shrugs*
I chose to add the pirated packs instead of downloading cracked version. I have done everything that has been instructed, yet the expansion packs dont appear in my legal game. Ive completed the ea dlc unlocker thing and ive downloaded the packs through torrent and extracted them, then placed the folders into my installion folder (programfilesx86/originGames/Thesims3/game/bin) ive pressed play and the packs arent showing out of game or ingame.
